My pain is a very personal inspiration that I don’t often share. For a long time, it felt like a solitary experience—just me and my pain. Over time, I realized how meaningful it could be to connect with others who share similar experiences and create a sense of community. This project focuses less on the struggle of chronic pain and more on the beauty that can come from people coming together through shared experiences. I want to create an installation where each individual part represents a person, and as these parts come together, they create something larger and more beautiful than what any one person could create alone. The individual pieces will grow and connect into a collective whole, representing how community can transform feelings of isolation into connection, belonging, and strength. The installation becomes a celebration of the people who make up the community and the beauty that emerges when we come together.
